20 years of freedom

This year (and especially today) we celebrate 20 years of freedom in the Czech republic and in Slovakia. On November 17, 1989, riot police suppressed a peaceful student demonstration in Prague. That event sparked a series of popular demonstrations from November 19 to late December. The Velvet revolution (as we call it) led to the collapse of communist regime in Czechoslovakia. I'm not going to get "political" too much but I think that this was a very important event in our history and we shouldn't forget it. We should treasure our freedom especially now when the right-wing and left-wing extremism is getting more and more support. That's the main thing I wanted to say - treasure your freedom.

I was only 4 years old in 1989 but these pictures and videos are really moving for me.

I started drawing like 10 years ago (I don't count my childish drawings :-) ) but my first drawings/portraits were terrible :-)

It's Billie Joe, Frank Iero, Gerard Way, Dexter Holland, Nigel Planer as Neil and Rik Mayall as Rick, both from the Young Ones (80's British tv series), and last but not least it's myself :-)
